The Numeroso family in Lusciano has grown Asprinio grapes since the early 1900s, training vines up poplar trees in the ancient Etruscan style — workers climb 15-meter ladders to harvest by hand. Cripto is their top sparkling wine, aged 30 months on the lees in the traditional method.
