
Jacques Puffeney was the most respected winemaker in the Jura region of eastern France, nicknamed 'the pope of Arbois' before retiring in 2014. His Chardonnay is made with minimal intervention, often developing a slightly nutty, oxidative edge that is completely intentional and local in style.
