Pietradolce is a small estate on the volcanic slopes of Mount Etna, making wines from old Nerello Mascalese vines. Barbagalli is their single-vineyard flagship — grapes from vines over a century old on black lava soil — and is considered one of Etna's most serious wines, priced accordingly.
