
Mike Lucia launched Rootdown in 2014, farming organically at Cole Ranch — the smallest wine appellation in America. He uses almost no additives or new oak, letting the grape and high-altitude Mendocino clay speak plainly. This is one of a handful of Savagnin wines made in California.
