
Thierry Allemand is a one-man operation in Cornas, a tiny northern Rhône appellation that makes dense, serious red wine from Syrah. He farms a handful of old vines by hand with no chemicals, producing so little wine that bottles are nearly impossible to find. Chaillot is his more approachable of two bottlings.
