
The Levet family has farmed steep hillside vineyards above the Rhône river town of Ampuis since 1936. Les Journaries comes from 70-year-old vines in the celebrated La Landonne hillside and is aged three years in large oak barrels without filtering — a deeply old-fashioned, serious wine sold almost exclusively in the US.
