Herve Souhaut Domaine Romaneaux-Destezet

Hervé Souhaut is a small grower in the northern Rhône who farms old vines biodynamically and makes Syrah the old-fashioned way — no added yeast, minimal intervention, very little new oak. His Ardèche Syrah is his entry-level red: earthy, peppery, closer to Burgundy in feel than the big Rhône style most people expect.
