Outward Wines

Outward is a small California producer making roughly 400 cases of this wine each year from an old vineyard planted in the 1990s. They ferment it using carbonic maceration — think Beaujolais Nouveau style — which gives it a bright, juicy, drink-now character best served slightly chilled.
