
Paul Prieur is a small family domaine in Verdigny, one of the villages that makes up Sancerre. Monts Damnés is the most celebrated hillside in the appellation — steep, rocky, chalky soil — and Prieur's version is a benchmark example of what the region does best: dry, sharp, stony white wine at a fair price.
