Gaja Barbaresco bottle label

Gaja is the Piedmontese family that arguably put Barbaresco on the world map. Angelo Gaja modernized the estate in the 1960s–70s, charging Burgundy-level prices and making skeptics pay attention. Their straight Barbaresco is the entry point to one of Italy's most serious red wines.
