Luciano Sandrone is one of the most respected names in Barolo, a self-taught winemaker who built his reputation from scratch in the 1970s. 'Le Vigne' blends fruit from four different plots across the region, and 2009 was a warm, generous vintage — one of the most approachable Sandrone ever made.
