Bernard Bachelet ran a tiny family domaine in Gevrey-Chambertin, one of Burgundy's most famous red-wine villages. This bottling comes from old vines that were farmed without pesticides — modest in price for the address, and representative of the quiet, unfussy style that earned Bachelet a devoted following.
