Philippe Pacalet is a Burgundy winemaker who trained under Marcel Lapierre and uses no added yeasts or sulfur, letting the grapes do the work. This is his straightforward village-level Gevrey-Chambertin — serious Pinot Noir from one of Burgundy's most famous towns, at a fraction of the top-vineyard price.
